  • bmx club: Royston Rockets
  • biography: Dad tells me that I was 2 ½ years old, when I started to ride a bike. However it was when my Dad was over in Milton Keynes practicing on his MX bike, next to this exciting looking cycle track (MK Crew Club track), that I got interested in BMX. I soon became a member and had my first race in the novice group. This was on my 12” play bike and I finished 3rd - quite good I was told! Shortly after Dad bought me a proper race bike and I started racing in 2005. My achievements can be found below; however I am really looking forward to the 2011 season for various reasons. Firstly i am back on my back following a bad ankle break in August 2010 at the Bornemouth National which saw me off the bike for 6 long months. February this year was the first time I got back on my bike and some proper training underway. Secondly the team is to ride the all new Pure alloy race frames. I have just built mine up and it feels so light and well balanced. I can jump further, higher and manual for ever! We have some new sponsors in Zipvit and Skins. How cool is that having a sponsor that also supplies product to Lance Armstrong`s team Radioshack! Skins are also a great performance addition. I feel like I can produce more power when I am racing in these and my output certainly supports this. This year I am doing most of the European season even though I will be riding in the older 11-12 yr old category. I am really looking forward to mixing it up with the best in Europe and riding on the same tracks as the best Junior and Elite men and women riders in the World.
