  • bmx club: Duchy BMX
  • biography: I first rode a BMX bike in August 1998 at Cornwall BMX Racing Club aged 4 after watching my brother racing. My first bike was a 16” Chrome BMX skunk bike (so heavy). In the last 12 years I have achieved 9 times Regional Champion, 5 times National Champion and British Champion 3 times. In 2005 I raced at the World Championships in Paris and finished 5th in my motos. I think that I could have raced better but the size of the occasion over whelmed me. I was so nervous. In 2009 I raced the Euro Champs at Frederica Denmark and after being so stoked making the final, I had the worst gate of my life dead last to the first corner but clawed back to 6th. I am currently at Truro College doing a National Diploma in Photography which alongside my training leaves very little time for much else. 2011 Is going to be a huge year. I am really looking forward to being part of the EA Pure Team and racing for a team with fantastic support and the bikes are awesome. I am hoping to compete in a few 4x races, all of the European races and if finances will allow go to Copenhagen for the Worlds. Retaining my National and British titles are high on the list of things to achieve this year as well.
